Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher at Amazon

As with galore of Bosch’s kitchen appliances, Bosch dishwashers are available in three selections: Logixx, Exxcel and Classixxx. Logixx have the most eminent specification models within their selection, whereas Classixx dishwashers are basic, practical appliance, leaving the Exxcel selection someplace in the middle of the range.

The Logixx range from Bosch is available in silver, white and to the full or entire extent clad stainless steel, depending on the model that you choose. The Logixx ActiveWater Dishwashers are the most eminent specification Bosch dishwashers that are presently available. They are available in both silver and white and have 14 place settings, six programmes and are commended by the Energy Savings Trust. This is in all likelihood because these peculiar models are rated A for energy efficiency, A for wash performance and A for drying performance. These models likewise use just 10 litres of water on an Eco 50ÚC wash, making Logixx Bosch washing machines exceedingly environmentally friendly equated with some of Bosch’s other widgets and a heap of of the dishwashers available from a lot of other manufacturers. The Logixx range does come with rather a hefty price tag though and if it is just something simple that you are after, a Classixx range of Bosch dishwasher may suit your needs a little bit better.

The Classixx 60cm dishwasher is also available in silver and white. Despite being the most basic of the Bosch freestanding dishwashers, these Classixx dishwashers still have twelve place settings, are Energy Savings Trust commended and were awarded Which? Best Buy in March this year. This is no little feat is it would have had to compete with hundreds of dissimilar models from dozens of makers to win that title. Which? Is an independent reviewer and has been for decades, so this is an award that may be trusted.

These ‘basic’ Bosch dishwashers have energy efficacy ratings of A, a wash performance rating of A and a drying performance rating of A and uses 13 litres of water on the Daily / Economy 50ÚC programme, which is a few more than the Logixx models, but is still beauteous good. This model has four wash programmes- the Quickwash programme takes just 29 minutes, but the wash time may be cut down even more if you have half a load, you may press the half load button and the washing time is scaled down and the amount of water applied is scaled down by 30%, which is a feature that in all probability went towards this appliance being commended by the Energy Savings Trust. The Energy Savings Trust is a Government backed initiative that inspires manufacturers to make their merchandise more energy effective in an try to preserve the environment.

If the Logixx is a bit too much, but the Classixx is not rather sufficient for the kind of Bosch model that you re looking for, the Exxcel range is still available. Exxcel dishwashers are available in white, silver and black and the models at the top of the Exxcel range have thirteen place settings, five programmes and like the others are rated A for energy efficacy and come commended by the Energy Savings trust.

Bought from a local retailer, but love it enough to share a review:

Our house is designed with the kitchen right out in the open, right in the middle. We like it. What we didn’t like is the noise our former dishwasher made, a “quiet series” dishwasher. Or the noise from the one before that, also billed as being very quiet. This Bosch? It really is quiet, except for the barest announcement when the cycle changes. Thanks to the light at the base, you know it’s on. But you wouldn’t know from listening unless you press your ear against the door.

Even though this dishwasher and our previous models shared the same interior size, this one does hold more on two racks thanks to a better layout of the tines.

Our former machines utilized the age old heating element on the floor of the interior to heat the water. And over time, that heating element became calcified or coated with dishwashing soap or something — who knows. I know that over time, our machine did a poor job of heating the water, ergo, a poor job of washing the dishes. In this machine the water heats at the entry, instant-heat hot water. It seems more efficient. It’s hot.

No matter which settings we chose, our former machines ran for ages, only to present barely clean dishes. We scrape the dishes, load this washer and set for “auto clean” and “sanitize,” and while I haven’t tested with a timer, it seems to operate in about half the time of the other dishwashers we owned. That’s efficiency.

The only thing it doesn’t have (although some Bosch models do) is a delayed timer. I made good use of that in our other machines so that we weren’t disturbed by the noise. It operated in the middle of the night, away from our bedroom, away from us. This machine doesn’t have the timer, but it’s a moot point since it doesn’t make any noise. I turn it on, then we have a conversation, watch television, listen to music, all undisturbed.

Great price for a quality product. Now. If someone would just explain to me why dishwashers need to be cleaned, I’d be happy.

This was a replacement dishwasher for a LG. I am extremely happy with the washing performance and the ability to place cookie sheets in there too. I found that you must use the detergent that came with the dishwasher otherwise the dishes come out milky and food stuck on them. I love this Bosch and would recommend this product.
